- 3 tablespoon(s) soft soy margarine, unsalted
- 1/4 cup(s) whole wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) kosher sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) nutmeg
- 8 tablespoon(s) egg whites
- 3 1/4 cup(s) skim milk
- 1/4 cup(s) reduced fat Parmesan cheese
Directions
- Melt butter in saucepan.
- Blend in flour, salt and nutmeg.
- Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture is smooth. Remove from heat.
- Blend egg whites and milk; stir into flour mixture.
- Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
- Boil and stir for 1 minute. Stir in cheese. Serve.
