Recipe

  • 16 ounce(s) extra lean ground turkey
  • 40 floz water
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 cup(s) celery, chopped
  • 1 cup(s) carrots, chopped
  • 1/3 cup(s) barley
  • 1/4 cup(s) catsup
  • 1 vegetarian bouillon cube
  • 1 tablespoon(s) garlic powder
  • 1/3 tablespoon(s) basil
  • 1 teaspoon(s) oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) bay leaves (1 bay leaf)

Directions

     
    1. Brown the meat and drain access fat.
    2. Combine water, tomatoes, celery, carrots, barley, catsup, bouillon cube, garlic powder, basil, oregano and bayleaf. Bring to a boil. 
    3. Simmer for 1 hour.  Serve.
