Perfect Portobello Steaks
There's not a whole lot at steak with this vegetarian favorite. We're talking about perfectly grilled portabellos that are served as a main dish. When it comes to gourmet grilling, this recipe is tops.

- 2 large portobello mushrooms, stems removed
- 3 tablespoon(s) balsamic vinegar
- 3 teaspoon(s) sugar
- 1 tablespoon(s) maple syrup
- 1 dash(es) salt
- 1 dash(es) pepper
Directions
- Clean mushrooms and remove the stems. Place caps on a plate with the gills up.
- In a small bowl, whisk together mustard, vinegar, sugar, maple syrup, salt, and pepper.
- Place mushrooms in a shallow dish and cover with marinade. Let for at least 15 minutes to 1 hour.
- Remove mushrooms from the marinade and place them on a grill.
- Grill for about 5 to 7 minutes per side, basting with marinade.
- Serve immediately.
