Creamy Oatmeal with Blueberries

- 4 cup(s) Low-fat milk
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
- 2 cup(s) rolled oats
- 8 tablespoon(s) heavy cream
- 2 cup(s) blueberries
Directions
- Place a heavy saucepan over medium-heat, bring the milk and salt to a gentle boil. Stir in the oats slowly into the boiling milk.
- Reduce the heat to medium and cook uncovered at a gentle boil. Stir the oatmeal frequently until soft and the milk is absorbed.
- Keep oatmeal in at a gentle boil.
- Remove from heat, cover and let stand for 3 minutes.
- Let oatmeal rest, then stir in the cream until blended.
- Stir in blueberries into the warm oatmeal.
- Serve and enjoy.
