  • 16 ounce(s) grass fed beef
  • 1 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1 tablespoon(s) chili powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) cayenne
  • 5 garlic clove, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 64 tablespoon(s) organic medium salsa
  • 2 cup(s) organic refried black beans
  • 24 tablespoon(s) organic light sour cream
  • 16 ounce(s) organic sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 ounce(s) organic sharp cheddar cheese, shredded to top with

Directions

    1. In a large skillet, brown beef for about 3-4 minutes, or until browned on all sides.
    2. Drain excess oil, then add the salt, chili powder, cayenne, onions and garlic and cook seasoned beef for a few more minutes. (about 2-3 minutes)
    3. In a slow cooker, combine seasoned beef, salsa, refried beans, sour cream and 2 cups of cheddar cheese. 
    4. Cover and cook on low setting for 2-3 hours.
    5. Fifteen minutes before serving, top with the remaining cheese and cook on low to warm until cheese melts.
    6. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips.
