Directions
In a large skillet, brown beef for about 3-4 minutes, or until browned on all sides.
Drain excess oil, then add the salt, chili powder, cayenne, onions and garlic and cook seasoned beef for a few more minutes. (about 2-3 minutes)
In a slow cooker, combine seasoned beef, salsa, refried beans, sour cream and 2 cups of cheddar cheese.
Cover and cook on low setting for 2-3 hours.
Fifteen minutes before serving, top with the remaining cheese and cook on low to warm until cheese melts.
Serve with your favorite tortilla chips.
