Spicy Shrimp Scampi

- 8 ounce(s) linguine
- 1 tablespoon(s) extra virgin olive oil
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon(s) oregano
- 1 dash(es) pepper
- 20 ounce(s) shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 2 tablespoon(s) lemon juice
- 1/4 cup(s) cilantro
- 2/3 cup(s) bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoon(s) reduced fat Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) chipotle powder
Directions
- Cook pasta according to package directions; drain well.
- Meanwhile, in a large nonstick skillet, heat the oil.
- Add garlic, chipotle powder, hot pepper sauce, oregano and pepper.
- Add the shrimp and coat well with spiced oil. Sauté until just pink, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the lemon juice, cilantro, bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- Serve over the cooked pasta.
