3potatoes. peeled
1 tablespoon(s) extra virgin olive oil
1onion, chopped
2garlic, cloves
1 cup(s) carrots, chopped
16 ounce(s) extra lean ground turkey
3/4 cup(s) vegetable broth
1/8 cup(s) whole wheat flour
3/4 cup(s) peas
1 teaspoon(s) Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon(s) ketchup
1/2 cup(s) almond milk
1/4 cup(s) reduced fat shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 °F.
In a large pot bring water to a boil.
Add potatoes and cook about 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, heat a large skillet with oil. Sauté onions, garlic and carrots until tender.
Add turkey and cook until well browned.
Drain turkey and return to the hot skillet.
Add broth, flour, green peas, Worcestershire sauce and ketchup.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Remove potatoes from boiling water. Mash with milk and cheese.
In a 9 x 13 casserole dish layer and press meat mixture into the bottom of the pan evenly.
