Basil Pesto

- 2/3 cup(s) fresh basil
- 1/4 cup(s) pine nuts
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/4 cup(s) olive oil
- 1 dash(es) salt, to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) ground black pepper, to taste
- 4 ounce(s) Percorino Romano, freshly grated
Directions
- In a food processor or blender, blend Parmesan, pine nuts, basil, and garlic.
- Pulse to combine while adding in olive oil slowly. Add salt and pepper to taste and pulse.
- Serve over pasta, vegetables, or chicken. You can even use as a spread for toasted bread.
